At the direction of the Recruiting Manager, the Corporate Recruiter is responsible for forecasting, sourcing, recruiting and interviewing for positions at assigned Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage stores, at the home office and at the Distribution Center. This individual will assist with the implementation of recruiting initiatives that build bench strength, reduce turnover and ensure compliance with all application and federal state laws.
The SMART Program offers highly motivated good4u Crew members the opportunity to be intensively and comprehensively trained by an Operations and Leadership expert (the SMART Program Manager) in preparation for moving into a Store Manager role in only 9 months. Once admitted to the program, Trainees will first attend a month-long training program at the good4u University in Golden, Colorado. Trainees will then lead operations in each department of a Natural Grocers store for 1 month per department, with their understanding of operations guided by the Program Manager as well as the Department Managers in their host store.
Through this process, as well as in-person leadership and operations seminars that occur throughout the program, trainees will learn first hand how all Natural Grocers processes have a purpose, and they’ll use that knowledge to develop an effective lens on store operations, allowing them to problem solve effectively once they move into Store Management roles. They will become champions of the customer experience and operational excellence, ensuring their team consistently delivers World Class Customer Service, while setting their Crew up for success to complete all of their daily tasks.
Under the guidance of the Category Manager and as assigned by the department, the Purchasing Assistant is responsible for supporting the purchasing process and successful execution to store level of their assigned portion of the purchasing process.
