Job Summary


The Senior Purchasing Data Integrity Specialist is a highly experienced, expert SAP user, providing multi-faceted support for the entire Purchasing Department, as well as for Stores and all other SSC Departments. The Senior Data Integrity Specialist is responsible for updating, maintaining and verifying master data starting in SAP flowing down to Store POS and signage while maintaining SOX compliance.  This position is involved in the ongoing training and support for the entire Data Integrity Team and purchasing departments.  This position will assist Manager in the development, analysis, and presentation of various purchasing reports, as well as improved department processes.  This role is integral to the optimal functioning of the Data Integrity Team and Purchasing Department.




Key Contact for UNFI Data Analysis projects
  • Process all Bid Files accurately within established SOP timelines
  • Coordinate with Category Managers on retail changes
  • Process all Data Sync Files accurately and within established SOP timelines
  • Process all Price Denial Files accurately and in a timely manner.
Training New Team Members
  • Training New Data Integrity Team Members
  • Training New Purchasing employees as they onboard
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching of the entire Data Integrity team, with the goal of bringing all Team Members to expert-level knowledge
  • Work closely with the all members of the Data Integrity Group to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining SOX complince.
  • Provide back up for other Data Integrity Group Team Members
  • Provide back up for Purchasing Data and Analysis Manager for EDI and New Store Set up processes.
  • Assist in the development, analysis, and presentation of purchasing reports
  • Work with Manager to identify areas of opportunity in the data entry process, and help create/implement solutions
  • Any other tasks or projects as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a corporate purchasing or business analysis position
  • Experienced managing personnel
  • Experienced managing projects from inception to completion
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze results
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented with exceptional time management skills
  • Strong relationship building, and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills are required
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP and BEX reporting functions
  • Intermediate knowledge of store operations including ordering, receiving, Shelf Tag and POS programs
  • Minimum intermediate level Microsoft Office skills, Expert in Excel
