    Job Summary

     

    The Social Media Talent Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and completion of a variety of tasks to support the recruiting process at Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage (NGVC). This includes creating, updating and managing job descriptions, creating sourcing plan for new and existing stores, screening and scheduling candidates for existing stores and Home Office.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities include the following essential functions, but are not limited to:


    Social Sourcing

    • Manage Glassdoor, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other sourcing platforms
    • Review all employee and candidate references
    • Develop and update content for promoting open positions
    • Develop Communications for Recruiting Department
    • Create announcements for new store posting
    • Research new store location labor and wage laws
    • Research new market competitor rates of pay
    • Research local Job Fairs
    • Post on local job boards
    • Develop local recruiting sourcing
    • Research and communicate information about new communities to internal employees Compensation Analysis & Department Administration
    • Manage Recruiting Department Calendar, email inbox and voicemail as first point of contact within the department
    • Collect wage data and run compensation analysis for HR VP approval to determine equitable compensation of employees
    • Annually, update the salary data for current jobs in HRIS to determine if competitive compensation levels
    • Analyze new jobs to determine the wage guidelines
    • Receive MSEC surveys and update the wage guidelines in HRIS Author Job Descriptions
    • Research and develop language for new job descriptions; assist the manager with finalizing the job description ensuring that the exempt/non-exempt status is correct.
    • Perform yearly audit to determine whether jobs have changed significantly from the original job description and make changes as appropriate
    • Assist managers with writing/updating job descriptions HRIS Management
    • Create job codes for new positions; add job descriptions to HRIS and tie wage information to salary groups
    • Validate job codes and starting wages with Recruiting Manager prior to posting Relocation Expense Management
    • Manage relocations and transfers of internal candidates
    • Review candidate file for performance information & warnings for Managers, Home office and Regional Managers
    • Submit requests for relocation payments
    • Review Expense reimbursements for moving expenses
    • Submit incentive payments to payroll
    • Request the PTO for transfers

    Qualifications

    Education, Skills & Experience

    • Must have 2 years of related recruitment experience.
    • Experience maintaining and administering an Applicant Tracking System.
    • Field retail experience preferred.
    • Strong recruiting skills and ability to identify quality candidates.
    • Strong knowledge of all relevant recruiting and employment laws and regulations.
    • Ability to work independently; self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
    • Excellent understanding of the retail environment.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with candidates and employees at every education level Good computer skills; ability to develop spreadsheets and reports to analyze division staffing needs
    • Excellent collaboration and consensus building skills.
    • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
    • Knowledge and shared belief of Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage culture and values.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
    • Ability to develop, administer and communicate recruiting processes and policies.
