Overview

Job Summary

 

The Technical BI Reporting manager will be primarily responsible for managing day-to-day operations, supervising a small team, defining standards and processes, documentation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include the following essential functions, but are not limited to:

  • Experience in SQL Server, SSRS packages, Queries, Power BI
  • A general understanding of retail environments and financial practices
  • Administrative tasks and/or assignments
  • ETL design, Data Dictionaries
  • Define/document standardized technical support procedures and knowledge base for reporting
  • Work with cross functional teams to define projects and scope
  • Analyze various requests, prioritize based on business need
  • Develop and maintain appropriate functional and technical documentation for core applications
  • Work with the various departments to assist in UAT and support proper change management
  • Troubleshoot issues to find root cause and assist with maintenance of applications
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to correct production issues and define scope on new projects
  • Work internal IS to automate and standardize day to day tasks and distribution processes
  • Define and research various functions to increase efficiencies

Qualifications

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years analyst experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in and lead cross functional teams
