    The Process Analyst supports the success of the company by identifying and implementing new opportunities in systems and processes. This includes reducing redundancies and errors, creating efficiencies, and maintaining auditable processes and reporting. In addition to working within Purchasing, this position will work heavily with cross functional teams including Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Training, and Warehouse.


    1. Under direction of management, work in areas as identified to optimize solutions in the system to reduce errors, create processes, train and document updates
    • Learn current purchasing and inventory systems and review current documentation
    • Research and test system capabilities for improvement
    • Identify redundancies, areas of error, and discrepancies
    • Get stakeholders input and suggestions
    • Test potential solutions and improvements
    • Present evaluations and solutions
    • Implement approved solutions
    • Create documentation, training, and standard forms as needed

         2. Where other departments are impacted develop cross functional documentation and training

    • Plan roll out schedule of changes and improvements
    • Train impacted purchasing crew members on new process, system changes or forms
    • Work in coordination with other impacted departments to ensure successful roll out
    • Create transparent, auditable tracking and reporting

         3. When processes require SOX compliance ensure process meets expectation of auditors in regard to tracking and compliance

    • Create method to ensure all data inputs and changes can be reviewed by stakeholders at any time with ease
    • Report monthly on in-progress and complete improvements with stakeholders

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
    • 3 years of experience in corporate purchasing or business analysis preferred
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to examine results 
    • Strong relationship building, training, and influencing skills
    • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills and expert Excel skills required
    • Experience working with SQL preferred
    • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
