    The job in a nutshell:

    As Director of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for full lifecycle targeted talent acquisition/candidate selection and development. You and your team will coordinate the talent acquisition process through all functions and levels, seeking continual improvement. You will work with your team and the VP of HR to identify and implement talent management tools, systems and processes, including: recruiting and selection technology, talent strategy, onboarding, succession planning strategy, talent development and mentorship programs.

    Responsibilities

    Main Ingredients:

     

     

    • Talent Acquisition: Are you people focused? You will be responsible for monitoring talent trends and developing capabilities to create the best talent management practices, managing the recruiting team and related budget. Reporting to the VP of HR, you will partner with VP of HR to determine and implement Talent Acquisition Strategy. In this role, you will serve as strategic advisor, functional expert, and thought partner on key talent acquisition, ATS system implementation and maintenance, and retention strategies.

     

    • Recruiting Leadership: As a recruiting expert, you will work with the Recruiting Manager, Senior Recruiters, Talent Coordinators, and Applicant Tracking Administrators, you will establish and build healthy working relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers/clients. As a leader, you will create and sustain a high performing team committed to exceeding business goals. As a business partner, you will work with hiring managers to develop effective strategies and relationships to positively impact the recruiting and hiring processes. Use your demonstrated recruiting and leadership skills to help us build and train the best possible teams!

     

    • Mentorship Program Development: Do you enjoy developing people and promoting workforce retention? We need you to create a formal talent development and mentor program at the Store Support Center. By driving internal development and ensuring key talent is considered for critical positions, you will help the organization achieve its goals. Additionally, your knowledge of and ability to align the people and culture with changes in business strategy, organizational structure, technology and business processes will help to enable growth.

     

    • Succession Planning: Are you forward thinking? We need you to propose and implement succession planning processes for the organization. Create a consistent talent review and succession planning process that gives all leaders line of sight into the health of the talent pipeline, both internally and externally.

     

    • Recruitment Process Development: As a recruiting full recruitment life cycle expert, you will review our current onboarding process, reimagine and formalize it for the future. You will need to possess a clear understanding of recruiting and talent acquisition business issues and opportunities to translate them to a vision, or strategy, with a planned course of action.

    Qualifications

     

    Recipe for Success:

    1. Experience effectively implementing and maintaining an applicant tracking system
    2. Previously led vendor negotiations for applicant sourcing technology
    3. Demonstrated success leveraging applicant sourcing technology
    4. 5-7 years related recruiting managerial experience
    5. Multi state retail experience preferred
    6. High level of professionalism
    7. Experience working with C level executives
    8. Excellent Written and Verbal communications skills
    9. Change Management
    10. UltiPro / iCIMS experience preferred
    11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    12. Outstanding EQ and Leadership skills
    13. Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
